Annie the Ant who Screamed

In the ants nest, in the queens hall downstairs, there has been born an extreme tiny ant. The nurse and the queen fear that it will die. But the little ant has qualities which they did not count on - among other things - an awful scream which never has been heard in the land of ants before. In spite of protests from the nurse the scream appears to be a useful weapon against the thieves who are steeling the ant babies from the nursery.

"Calosoma´s Flight"

This pile of cells is behind 19 minutes of the film "Calosomas flight".

The film is about a beetle Calosoma from the forests of Southern Europe. He drops down from the clouds and hits an ant who is chased by a tiger beetle. The ant has just caught a Caterpillar. Calosoma is an ecological refugee from his destroyed home forest. He is exhausted and very hungry and he loves just that kind of moth caterpillar which the scout-ant holds in her hands.
