Kahrila Animation is an animation filmstudio outside Brålanda in the Southern part of Dalsland in an agricultural environment.

In the 1980´s, I started together with my husband Roland who was a photographer, to produce cellanimated film. We made first a pilot of 4 min. After that we ventured to start a longer production “ CALOSOMAS FLIGHT” 19 min.35mm. At the beginning the film was mostly selffinanced. I myself animated, painted backgrounds, traced etc. My husband Roland took care of the technical work. We had succeeded to produce 16 min of the film when my husband suddenly passed away. The Swedish Filminstitute helped me economically to finish the project.
